Panic attack and depression in the same sentence is a frightening thought for a lot of people yet it is a major reality today. As the incidence of mental health problems plague many in our society, overcoming panic attack for many is simply put on the back burner because they don't really understand what it is they are experiencing.

For first time panic attack sufferers the experience can be frightening enough, yet for chronic sufferers, it means a virtual withdrawal from a life they once knew and an avoidance of certain areas just because they are frightened an attack will cause further pain and embarassment. It teaches people to think in the right fashion and eliminate any destructive thoughts. CBT has helped many panic attack sufferers regain control of their lives.
